What would be better to get into the film industry a english degree or a combined english and film degree?

I am unsure whether to do a english degree st university and then a postgraduate in film afterwards or do a combined english and film degree. I want to go into film and television but am unsure what option is best as i am also a avid reader and writer and want to gain the skills to write.|||I would say a combined English and film degree. For graduate school you can take some aspect of film that you've decided you want to specialize in---sound, scriptwriting, digital effects, animation, etc. Of course, films are made by a team of people, each with their specialization. I would use graduate school to work on your specialization, and undergrad to get a broader and more historical and cultural sense of film and literature. Good luck!
