What would happen if you used 300 instant film with a 600 film Polaroid camera?

I found my old Barbie Polaroid camera, but I don't have any film for it, and it takes 600 instant film. But that's really really expensive, so I wanted to know what the difference between the two categories and if I could use 300 instant film(which is a lot cheaper) in my camera. Thanks!|||The 300 instant film is rebranded Fuji Instax film and isn't compatible with your Barbie Polaroid. The Impossible Project makes type 600 films and it might be worth taking a look at, but they are still expensive at about $20 or $22 per 8 exposures.
