What happens if you use 35mm film in a camera that is made for 24mm film?

My camera uses 24mm film but I accidentally bought 35mm film, and I really don't want to waste it. What will happen if I use it in my camera?|||I may seem obvious to us that attempting to put a 35 mm wide film cassette into a 25 mm film slot leaves 10 mm sticking out some place.

APS (Advanced Photo System) film is a totally different configuration, so you will have to gift the 35 mm film to one of your friends and buy the right film for your camera|||it wont fit. all you will do is ruin either the camera or the film trying force it in.

btw 35mm is roughly the size of each film slot. And your saying your camera is 24mm

so... its like trying to shoe horn an elephant foot in high heels. No workie!|||I've never heard of 24mm film.

Can you provide more details?

Could it perhaps be that you've bought a 24 exposure roll of 35mm film?

If so it will work fine.
