What film dissapointed you the most, that you expected to be good?

I think for me Matrix Revolutions...the first film was so strong, the second one was average and the last one was terrible. I expected a strong close to the trilogy. %26lt;br%26gt;

%26lt;br%26gt;

What's yours?|||Avatar. I thought the Storyline would be better. Once I saw it, I understood Why, "The Hurt Locker"- won all those Oscars.|||Actually, the Matrix Reloaded %26amp; Revolutions I didn't expect to be good... The first movie was so strong because the Wachowski bros stole the screenplay from the original author. In the follow-up films they were on their own trying to advance the story, and it showed.

Biggest disappointment for me was Signs. After the Sixth Sense and Unbreakable (which were great), I thought Signs would be good... and it was just utter crap.

Runners-up include:

Ultraviolet (You've got Milla Jovovich, high-tech action previews, and... ugh)

The Spirit (As utterly bad as Sin City and 300 were good)

The Royal Tenenbaums (incredible cast, incredibly painful movie)

Transformers (so much hype, soooo bad)

Death Proof (Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

and all of the Star Wars prequels, episodes 1-3|||Really tough question. As for recent movies im going with the Other Guys. Im was so psyched about it, it look hilarious. Turns out most of the film is will ferrel complaing about how hidious his gorgeous wife. So boring. I agree with u on matrix revolutions too, only the first one was good. So much potential, lost =/|||Napoleon Dynamite.

For months everyone was telling me it was the funniest movie of all time. They were quoting it and all that crap, and I didn't find it funny because I thought surely I did not have the proper context. Then I watched it and I want my time back.

Either that or Little Miss Sunshine. I HATE when a movie is advertised as a comedy and there's nothing but grim, pain through the whole freakin' thing.|||Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Considering how well done I though the cartoon series was, and my liking for M. Night's works...

The movie really let me down. They tried to cram too much into a limited format and they couldn't even get the pronunciation of the names right. I can understand trying to go from printed word to spoken word and some debate (Dune is a great example of that) as to how to say some words...but you had the names spoken in the cartoon. No excuse.

That and M Night's works have gone a little down hill since his earlier days in my opinion.|||I thought Daybreakers would be a lot better, but it disappointed me. It was decent, but . . . %26amp; the Box with Cameron Diaz %26amp; that Marsden guy. It seemed like it would be better, but it was just weird, and really sad. I hated it.|||Star Wars Phantom Menace was one..

Both Transformers movies...

Alien 3 and 4

Terminator 3 and 4

The entire Underworld set.

Almost forgot an important couple...

Interview with the Vampire and The Queen of the Damned|||Dune, starring Kyle McLaughlin and Sting, produced by Dino DeLaurentis. Barf.

The remake on video/DVD, starring William Hurt was in all ways superior.|||V for Vendetta and Dawn of the Dead are both high on the list. But perhaps the Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory still takes the cake.|||The movie, The Plague. Great book by Camus but utter rubbish as a movie.|||agree with one of the other answers....

avatar was so over-hyped..

thew hurt locker was 10 times better..and more realistic|||The Sorcerer's Apprentice|||The Godfather part 3.|||My Soul To Take

Wes Craven failed me!

Rob Zombie's Halloween 2

The first one was actually decent.

I dunno what he was thinking with the second one.

Oye.|||final destination|||The Good Shepard.|||There simply is not enough room.|||Halloween 2 (Rob Zombie). I thought his 1st remake was pretty cool.|||a christmas carol. bad form jim. bad form|||Pitch Black|||G.I Joe ,A-Team and Daredevil......they were good,but could have been so much more!
