How to destroy the film in a camera both disposable and just from a non-disposable camera?

As above.

I was just pondering the question and could not find anything on this on the internet, maybe I'm not articulating it the way google would be able to understand. I'm always told if the disposable film on the canister is exposed to the light it will be damaged, but then how do you even get the film out?

Thanks,

Me.|||On a 35mm film canister, the film is normally removed by breaking open the canister using a special tool which removes the end caps. It can also be removed using a leader retriever: a thin flexible hooking tool which goes into the film slot and is used to fish out the end of the film.

Some disposable cameras contain a regular 35mm canister, most don't. Either way the camera has to be cracked open to remove the film if you intend to destroy it.but it's more fun just to set light to the plastic camera body.

Exposing the film to light completely destroys any latent images and once this has been done the information is irretrievably lost.|||They do it in the dark.
