How do movie studios convert analog film into digital video for editing?
A lot of big budget films are still filmed on 35 mm film, but I know that the post-production process is mostly digital. So how exactly do they convert it.|||They run the film through a scanner that creates the digital file. It's similar to the telecine process but at a much higher resoution.
